At last, the oil filter comes off
92978 km
I bought a nice set of oil filter keys, so I could take the old stuck filter off. While at it, we poured in some new Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 oil.
I have to take a pic of the old filter, it had a funny name.
Veeery nice. Very nice indeed. I am pleased and so is Maladar. Huge thanks to Maladar again. :)
Maladar is checking the brand new key set. I don't think we're going to have any problems with oil filters ever again.
Under car. It still is nearly rustfree. Tires are as hard as plastic, but who cares?
Actually, I'd love to have some new tires, but I'm still checking new rims, which (I think) will be wider than these BBS's (BBS BN says the rim, 15 x 6,5J ET +40)

Rookie body kit
I found some pictures of the full Speed Shop Rookie body kit from the www.mr2supercharger.com website.
It's a nice bodykit, but it definetly needs wheels with small (or negative) offset.
Those two pictures below with two-tone white/silver MR2 are too familiar. :)
And I apologize for using the pictures from mr2supercharger site without permission, I couldn't find any AW11 pictures from the rookie site :)

Midsummer
I drove my AW11 around for a few days during the midsummer holidays. I had some time to check the fuel consumption, and I got about 10 liters in 100km (that's about 24 mpg in useless imperial units)
I didn't care about economic driving attitude, I floored the car when I felt like it and I was expecting something near 20 liters in 100km.
I was positively surprised. :)

Rookie rear (whatever) wing
We took it off. It was butt-ugly. Maladar helped me a lot, he also used some chemicals, mostly brake cleaner (brain killer), polishing wax, interior wash and motor wash. I was pretty impressed with this.
I dubbed Maladar and Widric as chemical brothers.
Once again, a really nice day. We bought some junk food and bad-for-your-teeth kind of soft drinks.
This is how the car was before. As you can see from the first pic, the rear wing was broken. Another reason to remove it.
I believe that this is the company who made the rear wing.
This is the result. Maladar is pleased.
Maladar is cleaning the 4A-GZE. A little amount of cleaning agent and water was enough.

New Blog
Well, I'm still fixing the looks of this blog. I copied everything from my old (and short) selfmade blog, and I hope to have a decent blog in no time.
Old Blog

Oil changed. Spilled some oil on the engine and oil filter is still stuck. I need a better tool to remove the filter. Huge thanks to Maladar, Widric & Beldin
