Engine at the top dead center, as you can see the notch inside the oil filler.Below that, old and new timing belt idler pulleys. Mine was broken, so I luckily had bought a new one. New is the blue one.
And some engine pictures, thermostat installed and at the time, wondering the timing belt installation.

Hey I love your blog, keep up the good work! I'm wondering if you can help me, I'm trying to figure out where the bloody therostat is on my 87 mr2. I see you have some pictures saying that they show where it goes, but I not seeing it.
